Scope
The Act covers products subject to ecodesign measures and implements parts of the ESPR framework in Germany.
For businesses
Affected manufacturers and importers need to check applicable conformity, documentation, surveillance and penalty rules. Its entry into force does not make DPPs mandatory for every product.
