NexusDpp organises identity, materials, origin, recycled content, suppliers, evidence, environmental data and lifecycle in a model that can be updated when product-specific acts are adopted.
The European Commission indicates these windows for adoption of sector-specific ESPR acts. They are roadmap dates for acts, not automatic business compliance dates: following adoption of ESPR delegated acts, economic operators are expected to have a transition period of at least 18 months.
Companies can already map sources, assign ownership and test identity and supply-chain workflows without inventing mandatory fields that have not yet been legally defined.

Until sector acts are adopted, NexusDpp clearly separates published requirements from roadmap assumptions. A pilot can make sources, roles and systems ready while keeping fields and rules configurable.

The pilot can map materials, BOMs, suppliers, evidence, identifiers and available systems, creating a foundation that can be updated when the sector-specific act defines the final data set.
